Project Description

The City of Corona tapped Hamel Contracting for an aggressively reimagined and expanded City Center. Work of this contract included removal of two structural columns and associated beams and replacement with new column and beams, seismic upgrade of the second-floor deck and volume roof areas, new walls and new finishes in various areas of the two-story tilt-up building. New features include an event room, a gymnasium for large events serving 500 people, new classrooms for dance and art, a teen game room, a conference room for small business meetings, additional restrooms, a multi-use lobby area, outdoor stage, and a fitness room.
