This fast track hospitality aquatics project was completed in 6 months after issuance of building permits, and consisted of a new pool, lazy river, splash pad, 4 story slide tower with subterranean pump / mechanical room, and various retaining walls -all in the heart of an existing and operational resort campus. The first phase of the project included partial demolition / removal and reshaping of an existing lagoon and all associated existing underground piping supporting the lagoon, as well as temporary high line utilities and relocation of existing pool piping feeding the other existing swimming pools while keeping them in operation for guest use. Careful planning, coordination and sequencing of this project in an extremely small site, as well as real time problem solving with the design team and client, led to successful completion.
