Project Description

When the original design-builder fell behind schedule, Sycamore Academy turned to Hamel Contracting with a bold proposition. With little completion time remaining, a limited budget, and hundreds of kids set to begin school at the end of summer, Hamel Contracting was asked to build a school in record time. With zero room for error, Hamel Contracting achieved the impossible and finished the project only five months later.

This extensive construction consisted of six permanent single story wood framed buildings composed of administration, classrooms, multi-purpose and support spaces; site development of utility connections and street improvements, earthwork, vehicular and pedestrian pavements, landscaping, sub-grade utilities and site walls/fencing.
